it lifts up a few inches yes, but complety useless for changing the wiper blades, although i did do it a fueter of a job

I never have a problem with it
, makes it easier if you "park" the wipers at the top of the sweep (just turn the ignition off when they get there) but I don't even do that anymore, swapping blades is easy!

thats a fantastic idea, i genuinley did not think about it but it really is a good idea

I find it easier to not park the wipers mid-wipe... perfectly happy changing the blades in the normal parked position
