No. Usually they put them in suits.

But it turns out peugeot arent the only ones putting that feature into their cars, ford did it:
You cant call this a gusset.

No, but you can call it terrible design. Bit of a classic now though, and the guy that bought them all up because no-one wanted them must be rolling about in it.
