Saloon Boot Badge

Post by FarmerPug »

Ive been on ebay for ages, ive asked sellers for bootlid badges and i recieve not a thing from them as an awnser, does anyone know a better place to get a good condition saloon boot badge, also if thats not possible can someone tell me is there a difference in saloon and coupe badges. Perhaps the coupe breakers may respond better.

Over on the Coupe Club forums, there's a topic where they're discussing having someone manufacture replacements. The Coupe and Saloon boot badges are exactly the same part.

You may need to sign up to see it, if you haven't already.

They'd probably all be flaking by now, bad design. I think they're about £50 from a dealer, so you could either live with it (as I did on my coupe), or you could modify it as some have, and colour code it. Or remove and de-badge the boot, but that's more work than it's worth if you ask me.

I'd just wait until they sort a decent replacement over on the coupe club

I bought one "advertised" as decent condition, but it was still crap
I did give it to my mate to colour code to my car, but think he's forgot :cheesy:

Lions are typically used in family crests - indeed, the Peugeot logo is known as the Heraldic Lion.

Heraldry is the profession of devising, granting, and blazoning a coat of arms. It wouldn't surprise me to know that the Peugeot family has a crest that includes a lion.
