I'm back....
Title says it all really. Back after spending two great weeks in sunny, hot and humid Florida. Lots of theme parks and driving an Automatic Chevy Colbalt. First time driving an Automatic and on the wrong side of the road, god knows how I would have coped changing gears with my right hand. Oh well I suppose thats the hols over for another year. Any one else going away any where?

Welcome back!
I asked my Bank if I could go on Holiday this year with the wife and kids but they said no.
They said your not going anywhere sonny until we get our money back, thats the credit card and the overdraft.
I'm just having odd days off as and when, in fact not had a Holiday for 4 years now, just don't seem to have any money these days.
Still, at least I can make the most of this nice weather we are having in this country.

That's already been taken out of my hands........Niz406 wrote:Sell the FTO and go on holiday .............lol
Suffice to say, there was a colision, the FTO is no more and with the pay out I bought Mrs Welton a BMW Compact Diesel with monster mileage for the same money as the pay out, a bit like a straight swap if you like.

I was driving, the only accident I have had in 18 years of driving.
You'll have to bear with me for not discussing in too much detail, however, in June there was a head on collision with a lorry and it was very unpleasant.
The car was indeed a CAT B write off suitable for breaking only.

* Category A - Must be crushed. All of it.
* Category B - Vehicle may not be returned to road. Parts may be sold.
* Category C - Repairable. Possibly structural damage. Cost of damage (at dealer prices and labour rates) is more than book value of vehicle.
* Category D - Repairable. Probably non-structural damage. May have been economic to repair, but insurer doesn't want to.
* Category X - Repairable. Minor Danage.
