I work for a corrosion control company and i wish to start a forum for it.
I have only ever used forums, and never run them (although i have been a moderator) so know little about how to start one off.
I need some help please.
- It would need to be free to set up and use.
- It would need to be easy (as possible) to run for my colleagues as i wouldnt be on my own.
- It would need to be secure so cant be hacked.
- My compnay would need to have full control over it.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replies. The forum will be for corrosion control of industrial plant and equipment like underground pipelines and storage tanks. Here's what we do- www.bacgroup.com

bit of topic this hope you dont mind
one of the things you do is boat protection and i belive one of the things you do is basicly run a electric current through the steel to combat rust.
would this work on a car?

Re: help needed in starting a forum please
There has been a cathodic protection system for a car but the biggest problem is the anodes have to be wet for the system to protect. Only in a full on rain shower where the car is driven would it be protected. It would not work if you got the car out the garage and drove it on wet roads With no rain cos the underside would be wet but the anodes remain dry for example. I did use zinc tape on my old Capri as it was on an unseen flat surface.
