You get the early post
You could get another black backing, but body coloured wing mirrors are normally an extra cost option on most cars.

You could be different and leave one black and one body-coloured :cheesy:

My Coupe has black wing mirrors; according to Blue406, this was a design decision by Pininfarina, and makes the wing mirrors less obvious (almost invisible) at certain angles. I like it like that, I must say.

Why not try fitting this one, and if you like it black, then swap the other one? If you don't like it, take it off again and then put the blue casing on it.

Right got the brakes done today :D
Image

Also changed the wing mirror...
Got the old one off and was greeted with this...

Image
Image
No where near as bad as my Pug mind
Give ti a clean up and rubbed it all down with some heavy cutting compound...
Image
Rubbed the rust back to bare metal...
Image
Put some primer on the bare metal...
Image
And then I painted it.
Now I was told by some knowlageable guy on Passion Ford that because the wing mirror I had was a pattern part the backing from the standard mirror wouldn't fit and I would need to modify the mirror or the car considrably to get it to fit in the first place.
So I painted up a new one...
Image
And low and behold it's exactly the same as the standard one!
Now the one I apinted up was a pretty good colour match, but I decided to polish up the standard one and use that one again as it was perfect...
Image
Oooo look it fits
Image
Oh and it bolted on no problems either!
Image
Then the car was cleaned and given a coat of an all in one product I aquired while working for a detialing company...
Image
And done :)

Not a bad days work by all accounts :)
