Heated Wing Mirrors ? Do They Exist ?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Heated Wing Mirrors ? Do They Exist ?

Post by Gary406 »

does any 406 have electric heated wing mirrors

i would love to retro fit a pair of heated wing mirrors, with these frosty mornings wing mirrors are a pain to clean without moving the glass then when you get in the car they need re-adjusting,,

remember my old J reg vauxhall cavalier having heated wing mirrors, 8)

I thought they were all heated :? Maybe you could check for the wiring first as I'm not sure if it'll already be there or give you lots of ag getting it there.

all you would need to do is go to your local breakers and peal the heating element off the back of a mirror and go to halfords, buy a replacement glass and stick yourelement to it then stick that to your exsiting mirror, then wire them up to a switch :P

Mine too, hopefully Gary has the wiring in place to do likewise.

You sure they're not just burned out Gary?

I'm sure you could fit those, it'll be a real pain in the bottom if you have to produce all the wiring though
