I wouldn't have thought the hot water would have done much, that's a lot of metal to warm. Or did you pour it over the fuel filter?

Did you say 60 ltrs of Veg and 10 ltrs of Petrol? If so and it still wont start you got a problem. Should only be on 10% Petrol.
The hot water will certainly help if the veg is so thick and jelled in the IP/Injectors, but I think you have a glowplug problem and they need changing.

Its -2 at mine, and I use 10% Petrol and mine starts first turn of the key as I've just had my glowplugs changed.

Yeh but hopefully the Pug will be part ex'ed this weekend so no point changing them :lol:

If the glowplugs are knackered, then I doubt its much use. However when using Veg if the Veg has gone like jelly, pouring boiling water over the fuel lines/filter should dissolve it and make it more thinner so engine starts.

yah but 1 bucket of hot water wont make it thinner that quick you would need constant heat for 5+ mins, that water pouring thing wont do jack to the engine,,,
