i was in one of them limos once, a big lincoln town car thing, the back suspension was actually leaf springs so the ride comfort was shite i mean terrible, not helped by a chair that had too small a base, and being squashed in with abotu 10 people, it also rattled and squeaked like mad build quality felt terrible. But i suppose thats why it was loaded with booze so you would forget all its shortcomings as a car.

I'm not sure if they will have been built in the US and shipped to Russia or built there. They look fantastic (maybe not the pink one...) but how are they made? Surely the bit between the wheels holding the body up must be pretty damn substantial, like a couple of I-beams, how much will all that weigh? Surely the standard suspension set up wouldn't cope, no matter how huge the springs are. I guess that's why the one you were in had coach springs, nothing else would survive.

I have this image in my mind of Boris talking delivery of two written off Hummers and a stack of old rusty angle iron...

I love watching limousines trying to go round roundabouts. Some of them get into a right mess

99% are shipped over to Russia. It's a huge business there but, unfortunately, that means that Russia is full of American crap.

Smallish picture of a fake 406 limo.

Slightly shorter version would make an elegant funeral car.

That is very small but i like it i assume its photoshopped some things are too good to be true.
A LWB 406 now theres a good idea, just a teeney bit longer than the standard car but still more than a skoda superb then see if any belfast taxi drivers are interested.
