On my 2 early D9s there are unused spaces in the engine bay fusebox for megafuses, so you only need a megafuse and a spade terminal to get power. The later models have a different fusebox.

Was hoping to get cracking this weekend, but looks like the weather's going to screw me on that one now! We've just had our first snowfall start today down here.

Would've thought mine would be the same then, but I haven't got a clue about megafuses? While you're here though, is Steve having all the dash plastics for his car from you or will they still all be lying around? That breakers gave me loads of extra bits that I don't need & missed a couple that I do!

Just found this on Ebay for a distribution block:

Looks to be a fairly good bet.

No dash plastics for me (why? Mine are all black anyway). Need to get on with that but I'm still wibbling over the cruise

Wasn't sure if yours was black or grey Steve. Made a bit of a start on Saturday by changing the bits under the drivers side to black. Going to do the doorcards next as I'll need a good bit of time just in case I have to do some wiring work for the puddle lights. May end up copping out if they're not though & just fit Rapier doorcards & sell on the leather. After seeing the hassle it caused when someone added footwell lights to the courtesy light circuit, I don't fancy having BSI problems just for the sake of some door lights.

Hold on, do you mean stuff like under the dash where you can't see, the glovebox lid and surround, and the stuff in back like the parcel shelf & surround? That's grey yes, I've never thought about it. I probably never will either :P

Those are the kiddies. Not that bad a job really. Done the drivers side. It's a lot easier when you have the parts there already as the one that you are fitting can show you where any hidden screws are.

& it's only under the dash. All the B pillars, A pillars, parcel shelf etc. are grey in cars with black interiors anyway.

Oh, so it's only the lower part of the dash, and half the car can't be any other colour. I think it'll be ok how it is.

And while I remember... my car's left-hand drive, so Stealthe's dash won't be any use to me anyway

Doh! Didn't think of that. Good job yours is a D9 too then, otherwise the doorcards would have been a bit strange too.
