Wow! Very nice. Just missing its splitter...

I see the prices there are nuts too
18,500.00* AUD = 11,640.80 GBP

(*plus stamp duty, window tax and whatever else they can dream up)

Oh looky, a Solstice glod Coupe

29,990.00 AUD = 18,870.68 GBP faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark!

I take it all back - cars here are cheap. Cars in the UK are free :supafrisk:

Yep - my car would still be worth around 4k in your funny money (1997 D8 with 183,000km)...

Wages are fairly high here - 795 quid a week according to this! So whilst things may be expensive at first glance - it compares to what you earn. Sydney is a very expensive city though - one of the world's worst for living costs!

i think the good wages is why so many people living close to me has went down there. Does the water in the sink actually swirl round the other way

I like the way it says 3.0l 6cyl and not just V6, Can you take your car out there to quiet roads for a good blast to see its top speed ie is there many speed cameras.

It used to be "derestricted" in the Northern Territory - but they have now stopped that as of 3 or so years ago. There are plenty of speed cameras in urban areas and regional centres along with "camera cars" which can be anywhere in most of the states!

Oh and the fines and penalties for speeding here are massive - 30 kph over the limit and its disqualified for 3 months!

sh*t, thats not a nice penalty. What about the outback can you go for a blast out there or even in the rural areas which i assume are fairly huge after watching ray mears driving across them.

It's actually quite dangerous - especially in the late afternoon and at dusk due to what a Kangaroo can do to your car if you hit it. They weigh a couple of hundred kgs - they make a royal mess of things!

Rural areas - seen the size of Sydney on Google Maps? 130km from east to west basically:
