Heated Wing Mirrors ? Do They Exist ?

If the mirrors are manual then no they are not heated. It is possible to retro fit them but you will need to run additional wires. You can pick up the earth in the door but you need a live running to the rear demister switch.

well no wires in the mirrors

and i just broke the glass on the drivers side looking for the wires

thats a bit of bad luck, but a good excuse to go and buy heated mirrors.

im not great with car electrics so i wouldnt have a clue were to start wiring them up ,,

One terminal can go to any earth in the door & the other needs to go to a switched live.

Mines got heated mirrors but the passenger one doesnt work! Yay!

Probably one of the element contacts has snapped off the glass. You can solder the tags back on, depending how manky the remnants are.

No, it's a heater element on the back of the glass, you don't actually need to see through a mirror

Should my 2002 hdi Rapier est have heated mirrors? as neither do anything when the heated rear window is on.
