Possibly, I think they usually puncture the tyre though.

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Re: Suspension now snapped i am going insane
both my front springs snapped overnight last year in the winter its a common thing with 406s
1 did have to be cut off yes ,
moving it will cause more damage i never moved mine and luckely no damage was caused
well only a small dent on the 1 alloy , had the alloy checked out and its fine

Re: Suspension now snapped i am going insane
Well have got it all done though i have noticed that when you push down on the front it occassionally creaks is this usual what could it be?
Re: Suspension now snapped i am going insane
My front passenger side spring snapped while sitting on the drive last week, went off like a shotgun and scared the life out of me as I was stood by the back door having a smoke at the time.
Priced up a new set, checked the bank balance, went to scrapyard and got a complete leg for £15. Luckily the only damage was the spring had pulled the brake pad sensor cables out. Undid a few bolts swapped the whole leg in 20 minutes.
Hardest part was getting the feeling back into my fingers as it was minus 8 at the time.
Yes it will probably go again but hopefully I'll have a newer, shinier 406 on the drive when that happens
