Bmw has an interesting option called the debadging option which is used mainly by the buyers of the 318 to hide the fact when parked beside the 328 and the M3
It's just a pity that the pea-shooter exhaust usually gives the game away.

is that david dickinson.
On the mercedes showroom issue, ive never been in one i suppose you need to dress right in a suit and carry a briefcase to be treated like a customer with them, apparently lexus dealers are nice, but then they would have to do something as they have to sell lexusses. Not a huge appeal for one when mercedes exhists, and they dont offer many diesels (bar the is220d which will be phased out soon, and is something i would consider before buying a new shape 3 series but not a c class)
