Well, my actual title is Technical/R&D Manager.

But what I actually do is tinker with things, occasionally blow stuff up and order nice new techy gadgets to play with (just ordered a spinning rotor gauge which will be winging its way from Germany very soon :cheesy: )

I also stick my nose into others business, generally because I like to know what everyone else is upto too 8)

My job title is Mechatronic Engineer. I look after the maintainence team and work on improving the production processes here to save time and money for the company.
The company makes lithium batteries for the MOD and space exploration.

HA, If I had a quid for every time I heard that!
The batteries we make are totally useless to the average joe. They are state of the art jobs that require a special charge cycle, but they do last 5 times longer than the ordinary cells.
We do get to buy duracell batteries from the company cheap sometimes if their going to go out of date before their used for production, but not very often

I'm a Po-lice orificer, the Dedicated Community Beat Officer for Bellinge in North-pant-ton. As Foxy will no doubt confirm, the residents of Bellinge take a 2 week break in the Lebanon every summer, just for the relative peace and quiet, so just staying alive can be a challenge.
