I've got that covered - glycerine.

Espionage was the point of joining, I've been on all sorts of sites looking for intel and they usually want you to sign up before you can do stuff like search.

Me? More irritable than normal? What the f*ck you on about? :P

Funny you should say that though, I've been thinking about it but I decided that, not having much to do what with all the crappy weather an' all, I'd go batshit. Do need to cut down though. Trouble is I can't chew gum (look up TMJ), don't seem to get any help from patches and you can't get any Zyban or anything here, so it'll have to be will power. Which I'm seriously short of :(

Oooh, I get it, the avatar - someone putting a fag out on a no smoking sign. Nah, no relevance to anything really, I just thought it was silly.

One of the stupidest mistakes ever banning smoking in pubs, its pretty much killed them off or turned them into eatery's

A well ventilated public house will not be smokey anyway unlike the pavement outside the pub where passers-by get a face full of the stuff just walking past

When out on the piss with my mates (most smoke) i always end up spending half the night out in the smoking area with them

More atmosphere there too sometimes

Hey, I thought it was what you non-smokers wanted  They've banned smoking in bars and cafes here, but they have an option to have smoking areas which can include the whole shop. I was in a bar with a smoking area at the back a couple of months ago, it was well ventilated and even smelled quite fresh in there. I suppose it was either that or have every single one of them go out of business.

I never smoke in my car.

Up until 2001 I was smoking 10 x Marlborough Lights per day and loved every one of them. Eventually by about 2003 I weaned myself of them by reducing the numbers to 9 a day, 7, 5, 3 etc over about 5 weeks until I got to the stage where I lit one up and it tasted bad.....it was only a few days later I just never bought any again, and never have since.

It was nice to go into a shop and not have to buy any, trouble is I probably replaced that habit with a new one (drinking more)

I too have the unenviable habit of smoking, i keep thinking about quitting but for me driving is not the same without a cig, and seeing as im doing 24-30 hours driving a week now, thats a fair few fags.

I think if i was back in the UK and the prices were over 6 quid a pack i would have stopped long ago, but here its bloody cheap too, which does nothing to help encourage me to stop.

they have also just rolled out the european rule on no smoking in public buildings here last month, so everywhere now has a smoking room or just ignores the ruling, especially in my little town

in Warsaw its different but out in the sticks we can still do what ever we want, so the smoking continues.

Apparently a pub can let its customers smoke if it sells a selection of cigars then it gets a licence as a tobacco dealer/ or cigar shop and then people can smoke. I dont smoke, but i seem to be able to smell it, someone smoked near me and i had to put all my clothes in the wash as there was a smell off tobacco on them, something we all wouldnt have noticed back in the days before the ban.
