oddometer and trip display

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

oddometer and trip display

Post by swampyv6 »

hi all,
got a problem on the d8 v6 coupe

the oddometer and trip computer in the bottom of the speedo has stopped showing up.
it is still there and functioning just very very dim, oddly when you turn the lights on it is easier to see.

does it have its own bulbs i can change that light it up??

There are separate bulbs, mine is doing the same but I haven't got round to changing them yet!
Dash cluster out, and you can access them from the back; fairly straightforward job :)

Just the normal twist in dash bulbs; ebay may be a good bet for these.
