Had the clutch changed 2 mths ago in our 2.2 sri estate (release bearing had colapsed) local garage obtained clutch kit from LDS factors @£150 charged £180 to fit so total cost was £330 in total .
Its a different type of clutch to the normal conventional clutch kit fitted in these sri,s and it is called a "pull type clutch"

Some time in the hopefully distant future i will get a solid flywheel conversion for my yoke, £450 is the maximum i think it will cost for parts and labour, although with stuff out in that state its tempting to get a lot more stuff renewed, and a nice engine polishing.

If you've got the 2l petrol turbo engine then yes the clutch is dearer; go to Euros in person to pay, they usually give in to a haggle

ah a haggle, something i enjoy greatly when dealing with a person to person sale, thats why i dislike we buy any car, you cant haggle and have the banter with them.
