Remember you've got a rip-off copy, so don't try to register it as a real one......

IIRC there was a keygen utility distributed with mine - this mimics the activation code PSA would give you if you were registering a 'real' one.

Can't remeber the details, but blunder in that direction, I did.

2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Spent age with mine, but eventually got it to work. Think it was just a case of following the, (awful), instructions precisely & being absolutely accurate.

Took me a good few tries too.

And look a tidy storage compartment:
Image
i plugged it in and pressed buttons until i found a diagnostics bit:
Image
its not a petrol, but look at what ive digged up:
Image
ive not had any problems with my speedo its as accurate as the garmin sat nav so all these meesages got cleared, and also there was these:
Image
i opened up the details i think these are messages from the past the time i unplugged the egr valve, so these got cleared.
I never tested that again to see if these messages come back but i was able to turn on the overhead light and various other things from the computer, it will be useful once i understand how it works, the instructions dont exhist on any manual unfortunatley.
