"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

yeah but pirate, the 600 is for the supscription per year, but the time it save me its worth its weight in gold, for example i phoned the motor factors the other day and asked them for oil for my 406 and they sent me 10w40 but its suppost to have 5w40.

10w40 is fine for the 406.
not for a moderate climate

10w40 is fine if u have a hot climate but as we here in the uk can have cold winters we have a moderate climate
sorry for the crappy pic but it does state moderate climate 5w40

i had a look on ebay for autodata but its about £400, but i dont really need autodata, just something 406 specific, whats one of these cds like:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-406-1995- ... 011wt_1141
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-206-306-3 ... 038wt_1141
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-206-306-4 ... 1912wt_907

who is making these cds anyhow are they just some mechanic whos done all these things to a car and taken pictures of everything and uploaded the lot onto a cd?

They look like Peugeot workshop manuals in html form. They are out there for free, I'm sure there was a link to them on here somewhere in the distant past.

Of course they're not free, you don't get anything for nothing!
It's down to your own morals whether you use them or not
