Fan belt choice

Hi all,

I need a new fan belt on the 2.1TD, I understand there are a few different versions (no A/C, and then 2 diff types of A/C).

I have A/C so that narrows it down to 2, my question is how do you identify between the two types of A/C? I haven't had a good look under the bonnet yet but what am I looking for?

Sorry if this has been covered before - I had a quick search but couldn't find anything.

So the best answer is, nobody can really tell for sure until it comes to fitting?!

Does anyone have access to that servicebox website? It appears to want a login.

RE: Servicebox if i remember correctly when you go on to the site the logo is on the right off the login emblem,then fill in your details.

got myself an account now - can't see any belts though. Might have to get hold of my Vin number and see if that helps.

Look at the original belt....it will have numbers on it such as....5PK1020 for example.

Read the numbers off your old belt and go buy one with the same numbers/letters.

The 5PK is how many slots the belt has and the 1020 is the belt length...this is only an example, I don't know your belt size.
