i see, it seems very detailed, has anyone ever followed these instructions.

I bought it only to find it's D9 specific, so personally I haven't follwed them
Got lucky on mine and paid £2.50 for all the window switches, mirror controller, hazard and rear window demister switches
Swapped the window switches over and sorted my problem

I think in some instances water can drip onto the switches and cause corrosion
simply a matter of removing that corrosion

I have had driver window issue for ages. Annoying. 52 406 Rapier.

Window goes down...push up, it goes down more. push up it goes down to bottom. Push up it goes up. push up again it goes down. Really annoying.

Fixed with a bit of wire wool and a damp rag.
