My job title is Police Constable (spelling!) and I spend my days plodding around the suburbs of Solihull, drinking as much coffee and eating as many doughnuts as possible in a ten hour shift!

I am an IT Technical Support blokey at a leather goods company... who basically sits at a desk, picks up the phone and talks to idiots in the company who manage to screw up anything and everything from production control (stitching of bags comes after it has been put into stock, eh?) to retail screw ups (EPOS stuff) to printer not printing 'cos it's switched off to server installations and to making tea. That's the longest sentence I've ever written....

Need a new job basically!

I work as a 3rd line Desktop/Infrastructure Technician in the Asset Management at Investec - a south african bank (we sponsor most of the SA - England Rugby matches)

I look after 250 users (those with the silent "L" infront of them) As an extra challenge we have 15 copies of CHINESE windows/office - great fun

To the guys who are looking for a new job - i believe our Private Banking division has a 1st/2nd line Desktop Job - any CV's can be PM'd to me. I think the pay is around 22-25k - The office is 30 seconds from St Pauls cathedral

Cheers

Mike
