Here's some images off the 406 coupe club. They don't normally have the "coupe" writing on them.

I'd love that in mine - and I'm a smoker!

I don't actually use the ashtray for its intended purpose - it's a lot easier to hold the fag in my right hand and flick it out the window, not to mention a heck of a lot less smelly! I just use the tray to hold spare fuses and the lid to hold my wallet, fags and lighter in the dip when I'm accelerating hard and/or uphill save them flying out :)

If I'm behind you when you throw a fag out the window, you'd have my main beam for a few hundred yards.

Years ago, I used to smoke in the car myself (using the ashtray). I presonally think smoking should be banned when driving. Much too distracting and dangerous. If mobiles are banned, why are drivers still allowed to drive one handed with a burning stick in one hand. Anyway, that's my rant over

Actually the only part I find distracting is lighting the damn things, which is why I only tend to light up when I'm at a standstill or moving too slow to hit anything

I smoke, but dont use the ashtray. I prefer not to smell smoke when I get into the car. I like the smell of the leather. mmmm- leather!
I thought they were going to ban smoking whilst driving shortly, but maybe thats just in Scotland.

I used to be a Fumeur, and was one of the 'out the window' brigade.

I used to love a Fume on the way to work in the morning, I really enjoyed smoking at that time BUT you do realise you are gripped by a habit and can't actually comprehend why you are reaching for the packet of cigs regularly.

I forced myself to stop....I used to smoke 10 a day maximun, I did not STOP smoking, but over a period of around 6 weeks I weened myself off them by reducing the amount to 9 a day, then 8 and so on, over a few weeks.

Eventually when you are down to smoking 3 or 2 a day you begin to hate the taste of them....... you know when sometimes you smoke a fag and it doesn't taste right and can make you feel a bit light headed? well thats how they end up each time so I stopped completely. It was easy to stop because the whole thing had been wound right down to nothing anyway.

I have never touched a cigarette, cigar or anything since 5 years ago. It is certainly a nice feeling to go in a shop and see all the packs of cigarettes and KNOW you are not a smoker and won't be buying any, I certainly feel better as a non smoker, I see others smoking and feel glad I am no longer one of them, smoking has no positive elements about it so you should not miss it, you enjoy smoking but have you ever wondered WHY you enjoy it so much?

Regards

I've seen these little cubby holes on ebay every now and then.

Might get me one if I can find one.
