Well I'd say it's a bit high at 107k for a 3 year old car.... so assuming there's nothing actually wrong with it, I wouldn't pay more than about 4k

So did you go to look at it after? Or are you about to. It may be wroth trying to grind them down a little bit on the price, mention how long he's had it up for sale.

Supa, that seems a good car (more because it's still pretty new) it has obviously been up and down the motorway for 3 years at 35000 miles a year which is not a bad thing.

You might be able to do a deal and take the car away with no warranty (you won't be nipping back to Bath for small repairs).

Make sure it's had a cambelt, possibly get an AA inspection arranged then if you like it then go for it.

I would'nt mind paying ?4,500.00 for it, I paid ?3300.00 for a 7 year old one in Jan 06 :|

I paid ?3.3K for my Y GTX with 111k miles, like Welton I recon ?4.5k. I've just seen it on Autotrader, its a GLX with leather seats, alloys added. It aint an exec model. Its from a dealer so I recon if you haggle you can get 10% off bringing it down to ?4.5k. That is if its had cambelt etc done, if not take off another ?500. With those motorway miles it should sound & drive like it was brand new as I know mine does. :)

Sorry, it was me speculating on the later cars getting more equipment, didn't think of them being optional extras. My guess is the dealers were throwing in extras free or next to nothing on the last of the 406's. Again, speculation. Can't wait for the outcome supa.
