fuse box info,

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

i thought of another possibility for you gary, the instrument cluster in the d8s isnt all multiplex bollox in a d9 so you can track the copper tracking from the indicator bulbs at he back of the cluster to their wires, put on a splice and there you have a feed from the indicators.

i never did it to my 406 its an executive the alarm is expected on that spec. :cheesy:
But its a sort of unconventional whacky idea, i do that frequently. In my 309 i drilled out the key, and routed the wires to two shower pull cords on the headlining, they got the heater, and other electrics going, and a push button beside the courtesy light got it started. I have no pictures, but it did work, and it meant no one could drive off in the car.
Back on track getting the wires at the back of the instrument cluster in the d8 should be easy peasy, especially to try and tap off the indicator signal, try and do the same in a d9 and you deserve a medal.
