Re: Interior Light
Looks like they're just pushed in. Pull the bulb? Or does it interfere with the central locking?

Re: Interior Light
no they are just pushed in but with a plastic housing
the way to remove it is unclip the retaining clips and pull out (according to my haynes)
but it didnt quite work like that
i will go scrap yard in the morning, get a new switch and housing
than its a case of getting the wire from inside, it shud be fixable
then im ripping the stupid alarm out that im trying to fit, causing more problems than its worth

Re: Interior Light
you can see the dull white section ? that seems to be the housing for the black pin switch
and the white bit at the bottom is the bit that connects to the car wire loom
so all i need is 1 of these, shud be an easy fix once i manage to get the wire out the tiny hole it sits in

Re: Interior Light
in the hard frost i noticed that the switch for the drivers door didnt really register itself as open, so i didnt get the normal welcoming light of the puddle lights.

Re: Interior Light
but ive seen them in a d8 they are mounted to where the door bolts into place, in a d9 i think they must be part of the door latch because they are quite invisible, that quirk just happened once whatever way the frost froze it.
