Black-eyed head lights,

anyone know if the head lights on the D9s are 2 peice or 3 peice,
i had one apart a few weeks ago too stop it fogging up but didnt think to check,

im thinking of going for black-eyed head lights if there 3 peice,
ive done this on a few of my past motors and it looks good

anyone done it too a 406 if so got any -pics ?

or as anyone got photo shop that wouid kindly black out a set on a photo for us just too see if it wouid be worth while ? thanks

im not talking about the plastic/glass,
im trying to work out wether the chrome reflective part is one peice or 2
if the first part of it seperates ican take of its chrome apearance whithout making it mot failable,

ai it is mate,
but some cars have the chrome reflective part in 2 pcs eg mondeo /focus and some other cars so the 1st front part of the chrome can be Rubbed off it goes black leaving the lights with a black look which wont afect the beam pattern as its the back pc of the chrome part that does all the reflecting and not the front thats just Facial,

ive had a nosey at the puggys head lamps today and they can be blackend me thinks so thats my next mod for the list,
im going too buy a cheap set of headlamps first tho to be used as Guinea pigs

you only rub off what is not around the bulbs,

this is a Mondey thats been Black eyed yup its a ford but its the only thing icouid find that will give yas an idea what im going on a bout,

if you look at the headlamps on the d9s closely you will see the 1st part of the chrome is seprate from the back part of the chrome it is the 1st part that iwill rub the chrome off,

the glass bits stuck fairly tight to the plastic bit.

there Easy to take apart mate,
afew clips you pull off and then just go round the Edge of it with a pallet knife, some people use a stanley knife but ive slipped in the past and slashed my hand,

itook the drivers side lens/glass off mine as it kept steaming up 5mins tops to split them,
