Re: what wheels?
Reckon I could probably get £100 for them on Ebay as they don't come up very often on there. Ended up getting £110 for the old Corails I had that never got fitted.

Re: what wheels?
£100 sounds good. I am interested, just need to wait for the pay to come through which could be either today or friday and there could be a deal.

Can't really do Post Office as it's a total ar*se to try to get a set of alloy wheels & tyres in there - especially with my 3yr old "helping".

Re: what wheels?
Just tried the details in that & it still said about £65 + VAT. Weight is roughly 20kg for a wheel & tyre.Gary406 wrote:yes DHL collect .. £8.21 per wheel i would say ... whats the aprox weight of a wheel deflated ??waue1978 wrote:£70 was the delivery quote I got. Re: what wheels?
They are. Hoggars only came in 16ins. 7ins wide with a 12mm offset - that's why my car has a wider stance with the Hoggars than it did with the steels as they were only 5.5ins with an 18mm offset. Tyres on there are 215/55x16, but as I said 2 are pretty duff. If this rain gives me a break this weekend I'll get out & take a pic of each wheel.
May even take pics of the other ones to see if anybody's interested in them.

Re: what wheels?
im defintootley interested in the hoggars, too much mathmatical formulae there for me to understand, but im assuming they are bigger and wider than what i have at the moment. I dont even need the tyres, id put new ones on myself. But how does 16s affect the driving of the car?

Re: what wheels?
Bigger & wider - your Corail alloys are only 6ins wide. Honest answer with regards to the drive is that in the first couple of days you may notice a slightly harder ride, but that wore off after a week. Definitely noticed the grip improvement though. Used to feel a little bit vague on the roundabouts, but she's a lot more sure footed with the 16s & the wider footprint with the tyres.
If you plan on changing tyres, check out prices on 205/55x16s aswell - slightly smaller than what you run now (only by 3mm overall), but you may save yourself a fair few quid.

Re: what wheels?
im 195/65 15 at the moment, and one thing i wouldnt sacrifice is the amount of feel through the wheel, is there 15 inch hoggars, or what element of the tyres affects the feel is it the width or the size?
