im ringing a trimming firm 2moro that does new interior trims they take old seats and re cover them

might have my D8 doorcards re-trimmed in sum nice black cloth since i cant find any new ones

Sounds like a great plan. Was tempted to have a play with my old ones, but don't know where to start. How much is that likely to cost you? How much would they charge to do seats?

seats would be in the high hundreds , 700-800,

all i want done on the doorcards is the grey middle section as the rest is black anyway

i will let you know 2moro gonna pay them a visit

Sounds a good deal

Ade on the coupe club sells the ashwood fag tray and dash inserts for £75, so you've done well there


I think I ended up paying £71 for the 4 door, 2 dash, and the fag tray in ashwood

theres 4 doorcards still in that 406 ashwood effect, i cant use them in mine tho, dont have leccy windows in back and the drivers side switch is way different

been to trimming shop today, he said he will do each doorcard for £20 each,

i will post sum before and after pics monday, i should have them back tuesday, need to take them off over weekend and drop them off monday morning,
he said you wont be able to tell its been recovered

so for £80 its worth a shot

Teamster did it on his D8 and he had to wire it all in as none of it was there.

Here it is in mine. Haven't got the ashtray though. Really easy to change though. The bit on the driver side just pulls off, glovebox unscrews & the ones on the doorcards are held in by little metal rings that can be pinged off.
