hello i have just purchased a new comms unit i have asked an auto electrician to remove my old one and put in the new one does anyone know how much hours this will take to do cos i dont want them trying to rip me off for labour charges.

Less than an hour. Looks complicated, but steering wheel is an easy job & comm unit is behind that.

It's not really complicated, it's just some of the connectors are a bit weird and can be awkward if you don't know the trick of them.

dont you think you could do it yourself ? probably save yourself about £50

i had mine done, £25 to put it in, but the first one i put in was broken, so it cost another £25 to put a good one in.
