Today ihad to give the Car abit of Athrashing,
iwas at The lights on Red,
Heard An Ambulance coming Blue Flashing lights on Road was Clear in Front of Me So iblasted the Car "Floored It" so the Ambulance couid Get thru,
1st time ive Ever Hamerd this car and the last,

But igot a Strange Tisssssssh noise after ilet off the Loud -pedal,
Couid this be Aleak somewhere or couid it just be because ive Re-luctantly give the car pain ?

IM not a Boy racer by theway ijust like to see Ambulances Have a Clear run even if it did involve me getting a fine-points or a ban,

could be a boost leak, or a dump valve??

is the car petrol or derv?

If it's the XU10J2TE 2.0 petrol turbo you've got in your car, then it's normal. The dump valve can be heard when going from full throttle to off the gas at high rpm, but it is pretty quiet.

90 or 110????

if its the 110 the then u should check the intercooler pipe's for splits.

if its a 90 the have a nose at the turbo pipes

Ive Heard these carnt be fitted with Adump valve so its gota be a leak somewhere me thinks,
iwill get in My garage on the pitt tomoz and have anosey @ the pipes,

any turbo car can have a dump va;ve but diesel one need some eletric gizmo to control it

Ive had a nosey.
theres no split pipes,
Everything is on tight so im at a loss as what it was,
ive Even took the pipe off the Turbo and its clean no oil residue so thats a plus - Not blown the turbo,
and there is no Heavy Smoke when i -slam down on the Loud pedal,

Maybe this car as Never had a blast out before and it was just clearing its lungs,
