Re: Black lower trim
you wouldnt want anything lumpy and rigid which would happen with normal paint, sounds like a good job. This stuff sounds good, ive a coat which i spilt bleach on, a bit of fabric spray to bring back the original colour would be a good idea.

Re: Black lower trim
yes mate its bloody fantastic stuff
just give the rear doors a 2nd coat and WOW
cant beleive how good it looks
just have to wait now for the other tin to arrive in the post so i can do the last door card
run out of stuff now
yep 2 bottles costing £27.50 inc delivery charge has done 3 door cards
1 bottle including delivery £13.50
total price for all 4 will be £41
bargain i think , bet not many D8 406 owners have nice black door cards

Re: Black lower trim
ok back to the door cards i have sprayed ///
if any1 was thinking of doing this then DONT
this stuff doesnt do a good job,
i was daft enuff to try it but now i can tell every1 else not to because you will wish you hadnt
it doesnt stick, it rubs off if you rub your finger in same place for about 30 secs
it makes the cloth on the door cards go a little hard, not fully hard but not as soft as they were before ..
so dont do it , im gonna redo mine with sum black upholster cloth cost me about £8 for the material and £1 for some screws and washers to put the handles back on the cards since they are plastic welded on

Re: Black lower trim
thats a shame gary, but on the issue of screwing back in the handles, use some pink grip in addition to the screws and washers, it means they will be bonded onto the door card very tight, the screws just hold it in place, but it takes the strain off them.
