Alloy Wheels & Various Trim Parts

Post by waue1978 »

Here is the list of all of the parts I have that are currently taking up space & are open to offers.

1 x grey plastic glovebox with housing - wood trim has now gone though.

Image

1 x grey plastic driver side dash end - wood trim has now gone though.

Image

1 x headlight adjuster & diagnostic port housing in grey.

Image

1 x fuse cover from under driver side in grey

Image

4 x wood trim doorcards. Admittedly there would be a very limited market for these & the above 4 items, but I do remember fancying a set of these when I had my first D9 - a 99 GLX - as pre 2000 models below GTX spec just had the plain old bluey grey cloth with no wood - these no longer have the wood trims fitted as they've now been sold.

That would depend on how you'd do them. I had quotes for the full on strip down & refurb of about £160 for the set, but I know these places can just do repairs on the bits that need it. Did contemplate doing them myself, but you need to spend a good deal of time doing it & I just don't get time with my family & work.

Was going to put them on Ebay in separate lots & work on roughly £5 each, but if you want the set, make me an offer.

i seen them on a 406, not on the internet. But now i have consulted goggle these are the closest to what i seen except on a cleaner car in blue but not china blue, a more lighter blue, but not sea blue which was a nice paint coat.

Those are Peugeot "Nimrod" alloys. Be careful, because they come in both 15in and 16in sizes. They're nice looking wheels.

Paypal would be fine, but are you talking £20 including postage? Had a quick glance at the Ebay sellers & they seem to range from £7-12 for postage. I'd say the £7 should cover the postage. If you're happy with that, I'll PM you the Paypal address.

All of this is now going on Ebay:

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/stuwaue/m.html

Have now also sourced a "mint" set of Hoggars so that may put an end to my faffing about with alloys. If they are as clean as I'm led to believe, I'll be stripping the tyres off of the wheels that I have & selling the other 2 sets of Hoggar wheels - although I am half contemplating keeping a set to refurb & keep as spares when finances and/or time allows.

Alloy wheel update time:

I now have a fully refurbed set of alloys on the car with a decent set of tyres, so there are now 2 sets of Hoggar wheels available - the set pictured here & a bare set (no tyres) which came from my car.

Will be uploading pics of the bare wheels tomorrow. Also available now are:

1 set of flat seat wheel bolts for alloy wheels - ones with the shiny heads, but could do with a good bit of autosol to get them to their best.

1 set of the tapered type alloy wheel bolts for alloy wheels - not a countersink mounting, but they have a slight taper halfway down the bolt itself.

2 sets of locking wheel bolts - 1 with 2 keys, 1 with only the 1 key.

& 11 of the little shiny little plastic caps that go on top of alloy wheel bolts. 8 are fine, but 3 are cack where the plastic is broke, but they might as well go with the rest just in case anyone can fix them. Also come with 2 mysterious circular pieces of yellow plastic which were stuck inside 2 of the caps.

All will be going on Ebay over the next few days if nobody is interested. May be interested in splitting the alloys too as I already have 1 buyer looking for an odd 1 or 2.
