comms2000/windowwiper wash

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

How have they wired it in? The feed seems to be multiplex from the switch to the engine fuse box, did they break into the circuit after this?

Being honest i'm not too sure i had an auto electrician fit the commsunit as i was too busy and i'm not great with electrics at the best of time he just said that i need to get the wiring diagram so that he could fix the problem?

Hmmm, no wiring diagrams that I know of, apart from the ones Peugeot will want paying for. There's no point in looking at Haynes either because it doesn't cover com2000-equipped cars.

Can you see any extraneous wires under the bonnet?

I guess all I can do is tell you what (I think) I've figured out - the feed is multiplexed into the engine fuse box, then relays 9 & 10 (seems like they'll both be there even if you have no rear screen wash/wipe), which are fed by fuse 14. The feed then leaves on cable 10PR, connector 16V VE, pins 11 & 14 and cable 10PR which heads off towards the washer bottle. This is assuming the schematic I'm looking at is in any way accurate (always looking for a guinea pig  )
