Recently a couple of times the radio display on the MFD unit has not come on....although the radio works...its just blank where the channel/frequency should be. If I turn off the ignition and turn it on again all is fine...any ideas?
The car is a 2000HDI D9.

sounds like a bulb failure, remove the display and change all the bulbs

Mine occasionally 'forgets' to turn off when I take the keys out - display's balnk, but still lit. I think it's a comms glitch, always goes away if I turn the ignition on & off again. Doesn't happen enough for me to worry about.

Hi moodybluetwo, I had a similar problem before christmas. I undid the for screws holding the facia of the radio display and checked the wires at the rear. After that it worked ok, so I am guessing it was a wire loose. While you got it out check your bulbs. Think there are four or five and they are really small ones. If any are out because they make different parts of the display light up.
