Yeh, 0-60 7/8 seconds 120hp and 200+ something torque. 306 engines are much easier to fiddle with i believe.
He was also telling me about someone who's built a 200hp XUD9 with a mahussive intercooler and bigger turbo etc
You got your accelerator fixed??

Re: Nollington Hards progress blog
Have a read through this, i found it on TDforum.
http://www.tdocuk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1 ... &start=465
He hasn't had it dyno'd but when you read it, it all it does seem to make that HP easily and its on veggie oil
I paid £220 for Cambelt, Water pump, Idlers/Tensioners and Coolant which i think is a very good deal. He knew the engine and just got straight in there
I read a bit about the ebay stuff mate, sorry to hear it. Must be a sh*te situation to be in and hope that somehow it gets completely resolved
Also that link that jamjar1383 posted looks very interesting, should keep me reading it for a good 10mins.
Some people are doing some mad thing with these engines

Re: Nollington Hards progress blog
Service has been done. Took shy of forever thanks to an oil filter that didnt move so i had to rip it to its base and then use a hammer and chisel to turn the base off. Anyway glad its over with.
The only photo is before and after of the pollen filter.

Re: Nollington Hards progress blog
Erm i left the bottle in the car i can find out though.( I just found the Euro Car Parts receipt) it was Valvoline Semi-Synthetic 10W40 5Ltr for £17.74.Gary406 wrote:what oil did u use mate ?
Still got a litre left so handy for topping up
Hows the veggy oil going?? i want to switch to it soon
The arms just have to go vertical i.e. turn the wipers on let them go to the top and turn the power off. After that open the bonnet, undo one screw in the middle and the rest just pulls out. Very Very easy joblozz wrote:Did you have to take both wiper arms off to Get at the pollen filter, ?
