Post by Steve125 »

Hey guys :)

Just letting people know about a new official Peugeot 106 Series1 Owners Club that is currently being set up for owners, pre-owners, or anybody who is interested in the Series1 models.
We know there are many of you out there!

We wanna hear your stories, see your restoration and modification blogs, and we could use some experienced techys for our support sections too ;)

The website and forums are currently being filled with content but you can still register on the website!

Thanks guys, hope to see you there!

Hmm most of our members are from the UK so I doubt you'll find many takers for a Nauru-based site. Surely there can't be that many 106s in such a small country?

it would take that site some time to get the amount of info we have. And im sure any 106 issues could quicly be dealt on here. And why just series 1, that would be like having a 406ocD8 and then a 406ocD9 and D8.5 owners being confused.

There don't seem to be many phase 1 106s on the road these days anyway. The ones with the multi-slat 205 style grilles. The earliest dates back from '93.
Still a fair few phase 2s about though (with the single slat grille).

Seem to be picked up by boy racers and ruined. Same with Saxos (which are basically the same car with Citroen lights).

It would've been nice to see a follow up post from the OP, generally this would get flagged as spam.

nothing in particular, i just dont have a 106 or an interest in them plus i get the feeling its going to pointing in the styling directions with modifications, lowered, debadged, colour coded, etc etc whereas myself im thinking of lifting mine 2-4" the only colour coding is mud on everything and the trees debadge my motor on a regular basis, so as i say not really my cup of tea.

oh and teamy if there isnt a follow up post from the op then it is undoubtedly a pork based luncheon meat.
