Its a car Ford made mainly for rallying, think they had to make/sell 200 or so to be allowed to rally with it.

They are quite rare, looks stunning in the flesh, I've seen a few at car shows.

They never sold! Another beast was the Escort Cosworth with the big spoiler. We had one called Linford. Used to track white lines dreadfully, but went like F**k.

We had a sierra cossie with a straight though exhaust, 155mph and went round bends on rails. Awesome in it's day. Would still do the bizz I think against most stuff like Evo's and the very ugly imprezza! Those days are long gone, but great memories!

I asked a mate at the Jag the other day why we can't have a small modern 2 seater sports car and he says there is not enough money to be made in that market! A modern MGB roadster should sell. Look at the japs. It needs to be cheap with modern stuff and look good. Can't be hard ?

Escort Cossies and Sierra 4x4 Cossies are for Homo's, Sierra RWD Cossies I'd give my right testicle to have 1 or both for the RS500. :cheesy:

How about the lotus Carlton then! That was a beast. almost unuseable. Best big RWD car of that era was the Vauxhall senator.

I'd love to build an RS200.
You can buy fiberglas shells and a spacefram chassis and you build the rest.
I'd love to have ago but I'd stick a f*cking XUD in it

I dont know its not the prettiest looking front of a car, a delta looks a bit more appealing. In fact at 100k i think you could get a stratos. But in dreamland just give me a supercharged jag and unlimited petrol, unlimited tyres and a big empty road with lots of bends.
