True - 3,660 were manufactured with the EW12 J4 engine. It's such a good engine, and has a really sporty feel and sound; it definitely suits the Coupe - it surprises me that there weren't more of them made with that engine.
2002 (D9) Peugeot 406 Coupe SE, 2.2 litre Petrol. Scarlet Red/Rouge Ecarlate/Rosso Scarlatto. Black Leather interior. SOLD :(
2008 (E60 LCI) BMW 525i M-Sport, 3.0 litre Petrol. Carbonschwarz Metallic. Black Dakota Leather and Myrtlewood interior.

on my last mot there was a 206 gti in there. I'm sure it's a 2.2- I had a chat about it with the tester.

They seem to have been 1.6 or 1.9 but there's no telling what someone could have shoehorned in there

Hmm, judging by the numbers of these engines fitted to stuff its perhaps going to be a bit of fun finding bits at the right price!

And of course the moment you give up waiting for the right parts at the right price and scrap it, one will turn up. Sod's Law, innit.

Get over to the coupe forum and get in touch with with ade the breaker. He had a throttle position sensor for my 2.2 when I needed it.
