Good Alloy Wheel Cleaner ?

whats the best stuff to use to get all the black crap of the inside of alloys
just bought a new alloy wheel as a 5th spare then i have all same .

is there any houshold products good for getting it off to save sum cash ....

the face of the alloy is brilliant and i think under all this road grime the back will be good as well

Get some Sugar soap,
spray it on leave it half hour and rinse off,

sugar soap is none corrosive so wont damage the alloy coating or cause bubbling,

its cheap as chips too,

thats what ive used in the past.
if its got - oil on the inside of the wheel you couid also use a bit of parrafin or turps paint it on with a paint brush and clean off with a rag

boil a kettle, fill the water into a sink dish, put a mix of fairy liquid and a dishwasher cube in it, stirr it around. Get a toothbrush and a cloth, scrub like mad, and rinse with warm water. The scrub like mad bit is what requires the most effort, and perhaps more than 1 toothbrush.

Also, don't do it indoors, or in poorly ventilated areas. Brake dust is carcinogenic - nasty, nasty stuff - and you don't wanna be breathing it in.

shouid never use fairy liquid on alloys mate or boiling water ,
it will take the coating off the alloys and they will start going white,

best too use none acidic products on alloys,

it wont do them a button of harm, it does for the first time you get used alloys.

well just cleaned the alloy with sum wonder wheels stuff i had laying in the shed.

on the back the wheel apears to be white rather than shiney alloy silver ??

are any1 elses wheels like this, i thought they was shiney alloy silver all way round

as you can see the face is nice and shiney ,
pretty good for £25 . tyre is really good

Some old steel wheel cleaner that had been sat in the shed for years, a paintbrush & a lot of elbow grease. Took about 2 or 3 goes to get the Corails as clean as they were.

I used autoglym stuff once, was great but got it on the hands and stung like mad.
Phosphorous acid I think it was.
