I was thinking it looked like my D9 one - but it's really hard to say without the airbag......

Maybe the pics in Steve Earwig's Com2000 howto would help?

It's not com2000 'cos it's not got all the gubbins in the centre or contacts for the horn, it could be early D9 or D8 (which aren't the same...)

Reckon it'll be a D8 and an early one at that. (Anything newer wouldn't have got to Dornoch yet).

I say D8
Edge of the airbag at the top is a lot angular on the D8, which would fit the recesses of that wheel
Also, I believe that on the 2 bottom spokes of the wheel, it is flat on the D8, and has almost a ridge on the D9

The wheel I bought was off a D8 coupe ( tad smaller in diameter ) and that wasn't overly brilliant, but a bit of Liquid Leather scuffmaster did the trick
Worked out ok for me, as had plenty to use on the seats as well, but as you have rapier seats don't you?, the cost of buying some may be prohibitive :|

I like 406 steering wheels because they are thin like a Rolls Royces, so you can have a relaxed pose without tensing up the arm muscles.

The GTV was like a sports car steering wheel, but you ended up sitting like a gremlin.
