cool,

imight buy one and see what difernce they make,

shame they dont make strut-braces for the "rear-ends" of the 406s that seems its most Drifty-out place,

Maybe some Stabilisers liberated from one of my sons bikes welded on to the sides shouid Rec-tify that

The brace is very strong, so you need to give it a good whack to bend it anyway
IIRC mine needed a couple of whacks on the offside near the strut and all was cool
Can't see any detrimental effect to it

Increasing the rear stiffness will increase the drifty-outness of the rear end. To get less overstear you either make the rear softer or make the front stiffer.

My torx bit set is at home :(

I seem to recall it being T55, but don't quote me on that.

i didnt have the torx bit for the job, so got the lend of a set off a neighbour, took 5 mins to put on and you feel the difference. After a while you dont notice it anymore, just expecting the car to always drive like that, then drive a 406 with no strut brace and it feels a bit funny.
