Looks a bit like the Rover 75 coupe.

Would suit bespoke frontal treatment like the 406 coupe had.

thats a nice car, ive seen a c5 convertable somewhere on google (internets too slow to photobucket stuff) but it looked good.
The laguna coupe looks like an aston some say and i could agree, but its an ugly looking thing from the front and still a renault. Renault signifies all that is bad with french cars.

I've seen a Laguna Coupe parked up. It looks great, especially in grey or silver

Image

From the rear it is a poor man's Aston.

The front isn't the most aesthetically pleasing design, but then neither is the front of the 407 coupe, they are both inoffensive (ie. not ugly either) and I would happily live with either!

i just dont like the front of the laguna it looks like a sad face, like the mk4 fiesta.
But statistically i think the 3.0v6 diesel in the laguna makes it a bit nippier than the 407 hdi v6. Having said that its a renault so it will probably blow a turbo, and break down lots.

BSI under the bonnet again? Perhaps it'll do a Laguna and sit there with the alarm going off, wipers wiping, squirters squirting and cranking the engine over on the starter...

I wouldnt say fail, they have suceeded in making one of their ugliest ever cars even worse looking that takes effort it really does, but how the market research people cant tell the designers that buyers want good looking cars not absolute stinkers i do not know.
Dear Peugeot Go back to people who designed your cars (pinifarina) in the 80s and 90s.

It all went wrong with the 206 I fear.

From then they put pointy lights on anything. I bet even their bogs have pointy lights.

According to Wiki the 206 pre-dates the 607 by a month:
The 607 was launched in October 1999
...the 206...commercial launch on 10 September 1998
So it probably marks the change from producing nice looking cars to pig ugly dogs. If you look at it the 607 already has the silly pointy lights, it just lacks the grotesque blobfish lower grille while the 206's lower grille hasn't really drifted that far from sanity yet.

Edit: Confused myself
