IM BAAAAACK!

Well - after 5 weeks of working, and not being in Australia/near a computer...I'm back from my 4 week European jaunt!

London was awesome - A city I could see myself living in for a bit! So many Australians though (which can be a bad thing) - for example, every shop at Oxford Circus had one working there!

Paris - 406 central. Never seen so many! Beautiful city, and the Eiffel Tower at night, blew my mind! Oh and the 997 Turbo which had been "tagged" on the side of the road was a sight to behold!

I have more stories, but I thought it would be good to check in and let you know that I haven't run away from 406oc for good! Oh and after 4 weeks of sitting there, the car started first go! :cheesy:

Aha! Welcome back young Joel :cheesy: So, do you reckon you could throw a rotten egg from the railings at Buckinham palace and hit the queen? :supafrisk:

I was a bit shitty that she didn't invite me in - afterall, I'm a paying member of the commonwealth.

Cheap as!

For example - a bottle of Coke in Sydney costs $3.50AUD, whilst I bought one in London for 1.20 (which is around the $1.70 mark)...

Restaurants are cheap - a Pizza and drink at this italian joint in Paddington set me back a tenner ($13AUD) - you'd be lucky to get change from $20AUD in Sydney for the same thing!

Bought clothes in London - again, cheaper than Australia. Except for the 65 quid cab ride back to Heathrow...OUCH!

Australians earn decent money though - http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/[email protected]/mf/6302.0 (roughly its 1/3 less than in GBP due to the exchange rate)...
