fuel injection system

Right following on from last topic where the v6 cut out on me wouldnt restart its happend again.

I solved it last time by putting a twelve volt feed direct to the fuel pump.
Tried that this time and as soon as the 12v feed is removed the pump stops and engine cuts out.

So where are all the relevant relays for the fuel injection, pump etc?

Back to the double relay in the ECU box I reckon.

There's a crash switch reset button in the engine bay next to the front left shock mount. It's red (occasionally black), about 1 inch square. Press it and hopefully the car will start. Not had a knock to trip it? no neither had I but I was off the road for nearly a week until I discovered this swicht exists, so it's worth a try.

double relay has being ordered from ade bingham, should be with me today

cut off switch is fine have tried that.

next step is i wire up a relay and switch and hard wire it to the fuel pump as a tempeasure

yes the double relay for the v8 is in fact two pairs of relays one either side of the ecu box.

replaced both of these and all seems well!!!

now got to get it through the MOT at 10am
