dude that is a proper b*****it fail!!!

the only thing the place i use would have failed it on was the emissions but that could have been sorted by warming the cat up proply by taking it up the road and rag it a bit

"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Guys... the rear fog lamp works... I don't think they knew how to switch the thing on! On the Ford you have to pull the knob towards you, took me ages!
Headlight alignment too low? Well last years MOT they lowered it cause it was too high? Coincidence. I think so.
I already have a new front O2 sensor, my Dad's going to pay for the rear sensor and pay to have them both changed. Going to fill up and stick a bottle of redex in the tank and pop on the motorway for an hour saturday or sunday and make sure the engines boiling before I drop it off to them.

give it a bit of a cain before u get it to them, ie.high rev's low gears, as if u have a aftermarket or worn cat it will fail like that.

Thats the only reason I could think? I know my reverse light dosent work but thats cause the sensor in the gearbox is nakered. (Job for tommorow).
But I checked the rear fog when I got home and it worked fine?

CAT was put in year before last by Prospeed in Cardiff, they got a good reputation so it should be good.
Whats a good fuel cleaner? People are suggesting forte and a guy in the Pub I work at whos a mechanic says they use a redex that they drip into the intake and when it starts smoking they take it for a blast?

If the cat is only 12 months old, it could just be the sensors giving bad data making it overfuel.

Change sensors, tin of forte in the tank then blast it around for an hour or so.
