Irritating Squeak

The real door card clips are a weird shape that you twist into the hole in the door card, I tried bodging some normal ones in there but the door card squeaked

what i did was cut a small line then used a pair of plies that moved outways to widen the line, pushed the clip into place and it was locked in there.

so was mine, came in a Lion chevron bag.
It said peugeot 406 door card clips on the ebay listing, they look the exact same as the old ones which had to be broken to take out. The only difference was the old clips were black.

iwill leave mine snapped and just glue gaffertape /weld the pannel on

Thats good of you to offer them. But i think the original ones were exactly the same except black and taking them out broke them.
But these trim clips are one thing the dealer does cheap. i wonder if i could go to a citroen dealer for them, the closest one is 5 miles away the closest peugeot dealer is 20 miles.

Now I'm looking at the diagrams and there's two sorts, but when I went to Pug and asked for a dozen they only gave me one sort, which I think are 6991 43 because they were the same as what I had left and I needed 3 for a front door

Picks Citroen at random... Oh, none of them came up Citroen should be able to order them for you but it'll take 2 trips

what have i got then. Because these were on ebay as 406 doorclips.
They dont rattle at all. I know i like to have things standard, but when i dont see them and they dont do anything differently than the standard ones they will do rightly.
