Re: strut brace
it was in a set, i think t55 but all i remember was that being a set so the issue of what size wasnt really an issue. One thing though is they will need removed with a ratchet, not one of them torx bits on the end of a screwdriver because they are in tight.

Re: strut brace
I messaged Gary406 the torx screw size but i thought its better to also put the knowledge out there.
Its a T50 Torx Screw. I got it for £2/3 from euro car parts, BnQ and other DIY/ building places wanted £20/30 for a full set as they dont sell singles

Re: strut brace
The guy I bought mine off ("mountain" on these forums) drove a D8. If he could get the brace to fit under his bonnet, you should be able to fit that one under yours.
Really, go to town on it with the hammer and see if you can get it to fit. I didn't have to, but maybe Mountain had already "persuaded" it before I got it.
Here it is on his car:

And on my old saloon:

Re: strut brace
one wonders does d9 rear lights fit.
also why didnt the strut brace come fitted to the 406, was that second bulkhead the old 405s had, a form of strut brace?
and those who had read it searched google for a picture of a 405s engine bay to see what was meant by this second bulkhead.

Re: strut brace
I've never had these longer bolts; the strut brace I've got was fitted to both my 406s (saloon and Coupe) with the stock bolts that were there in the 1st place.
That said, if you buy a strut brace from Ade1122 (Coupe Club forums) then he will supply the longer bolts with the brace, I believe.
