I know exactly what you mean, I was driving up an A road today @ speeds I shouldn't have been and some knob in an Audi A4 or A6 ( cant say I was interested in the car) would not move out of the fast lane, so I slowed down, then he continued to accelerate and pull away after I had slowed down to a respectable speed....

Well needless to say I was not happy, so I popped the turbo on 12 p.s.i and held it to silly speeds, poor guy in the audi was thrashing the life out of it trying to keep in front, he would not pull over and I was on his bumper so I started to ubndertake him and my misses says:

Its ok when she is driving or in the go-kart and she drives like a nutter, but me oh o I can't possibly go fast ! ! Darn it...

*Disclaimer silly speeds were done on a quiet road with very little traffic, i.e. 3 cars max lol I do not condone the speeds I travelled unless under the supervision of experts like myself and also on busy populated A roads or motorways ! I have not disclosed my speeds for a reason lol

BTW, how can you tell by looking if a car has got electric folding mirors or not??
There's no real way of telling from outside, but on the inside the mirror knob will have a white dot at the 6 o'clock position. You turn the knob to this position to make them fold. Be careful though, I have heard of later coupes that had te switch , but not the mirrors. Probably Peugeot not wanting to make 2 types of switches.
I still find it great, real poser like. I use them every time I park up(and have been known to wait until someone is looking!! God I'm sad)

LMFAO Niz...........................

hehe, When I had the Honda Integra VTEC it had 160 BHP as standard and I fitted a de-cat and pipercross replacement element with a special 3 way air intake box  the car was as light as a feather and had a factory LSD and had the superb Integra Chassis.

Well, you honestly would not believe the funny races I used to have, that car seriously embarrassed many others for example:

Vauxhall 'Dad's Special Edition' Zafira GSi Turbo (extremely unhappy dad could not keep up)
Various BMW 328's (difficult but still triumphed)
Lexus IS200's (quite easy but business type man driving not amused by the experience)
All of the usual Spaxo VTR's etc etc etc
Old skool Renault 5 Turbo (owner not a happy chap when I went by at 8000 RPM)

Anyway, If Mrs Welton was in the car then I would drive like a professional Chaufeur as I learned over the years that the Male competitiveness and one-upmanship just doesn't register with most Females, they see it as pointless and dangerous (which it is  )

Niz it's just a Male thing, (and a Supafrisk thing :cheesy: )

Strangely though, my missus definatley drives faster on her own too.

My missus actually let out a scream (of terror) when I first entered VTEC zone

Never did it again after that :|

She said it sounded like the engine was going to explode and you shouldn't scream an engine like that (cos her dad always said so).

I never bovered to explain Honda's technology to her.

Perhaps your missus is suffering with 'He's not even bothered to mention about a Holiday yet this year syndrome' or perhaps 'He doesn't mind spending money on silly things for the car but won't buy me anything syndrome'

Might be worth checking this out.

Think she is jealous that her car doesnt go as fast as mine.... she wishes it could... and I've told her we'll turbo it if she wants but she's not too sure !
